I am near Salt Lake City so not very close but I have driven by the Sanctuary and my niece just took her kids there a few weeks ago and they loved it. How did you get involved with that living in Ohio? Look forward to reading your blog each week and getting to know you more.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13916268888264378862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1383004726920755790.post-11897949589349763542011-06-04T17:59:40.113-06:002011-06-04T17:59:40.113-06:00Stacey - I love second hand books too! I feel that books are timeless and when you come across a well worn book that has been read so many times it just settles a nice little 'sigh' over my heart.

I would love to go on a vacation to just small little bookshops like this one. So when you and Jenn open up yours let me know and I will put it on my vacation list:)Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13916268888264378862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1383004726920755790.post-68576480646351062152011-06-04T14:09:15.779-06:002011-06-04T14:09:15.779-06:00Hi Melissa! This review made me want to check out this book, sounds great to me as I love witch stories. And I loved your description of the book shop as well, I adore those little stores and can spend hours in them. Love the cat in the window too!

Nice to meet you!Julie Flandershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05003737491313673214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1383004726920755790.post-5230118505326207332011-06-03T11:10:30.000-06:002011-06-03T11:10:30.000-06:00I haven't read this book, but I will now. :-) ...I haven't read this book, but I will now. :-) Thanks for the rec.

I also loved your description of the bookstore. I would LOVE to own a bookstore like that, too. Not for new books, but all second hand... that have been read and loved and enjoyed and are just waiting to be enjoyed again.

I picture my secondhand book store either in the middle of a not too busy street in a larger city or on the main 'strip' of a small beach town.

Aaaaaahhhhhh.

Back to reality now. :-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02595848781243129508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1383004726920755790.post-72631388853972457762011-06-03T09:12:22.218-06:002011-06-03T09:12:22.218-06:00What is up with blogger lately and the comments po...What is up with blogger lately and the comments posting issue? Anyways the lovely Jennifer at Serendipity's Library emailed me this comment:

I loved this book too. I read it last summer and I really enjoyed it. There is something about witches that I cannot resist. Also I have long dreamed of owning my own bookshop just like the one you described. It would of course be called Serendipity's Library!

Thanks Jennifer for the great comment and for letting me know my blogger also had issues. Hopefully I fixed it with your recommendations.

I have also wanted to own a bookshop. One of my favorite movies is You've Got Mail with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks just because of the little bookshop she owned. So sad when she closed it but I would love to have someone have memories of a great bookstore like she did.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13916268888264378862noreply@blogger.com
